The Azerbaijani parliament on Friday discussed the draft law envisaging an amendment to the law “On police”, said Ali Huseynli, chairman of the parliamentary Committee on legal policy and state building. The draft law was adopted.
According to the amendment, it is planned to use physical force, special means and firearms while preventing the crimes related to terrorism, religious extremism and attempts to change the constitutional system.
