TurkPA set to contribute to global security
Kazakh parliament speaker Kabibulla Dzhakupov said at the VI session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries that the parliamentarians of TurkPA would contribute to combating terrorism and extremism, Kazpravda reported.
It was proponed to organize a roundtable with MPs, international experts and religious figures on combating international terrorism and extremism in the framework of the Commission on Legal Issues and International Affairs.

The speaker underscored the grown relevance of President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s idea of establishing under UN auspices of a network to counter international terrorism and extremism, which he voiced at the UN General Assembly this September.
