Azerbaijan`s Transport Minister meets Czech ambassador

Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in Azerbaijan Witiezslav Pivonka.

Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov spoke about the activities in the field of road transport sector in recent years in Azerbaijan, ongoing reforms and achievements, and also noted that he is interested in further development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic in the transport sector.

Pivonka, in turn, spoke about the success of Czech companies in Azerbaijan and noted the rapid development of Azerbaijan, including in the transport sector.

During the meeting they discussed the possibility of cooperation between the two countries in the transport sector, long-term projects and accomplished works.
