Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade has today held a meeting at the state oil company SOCAR in connection with the recent accident on the platform 10 at the Guneshli offshore field.
The meeting heard the reports of Minister of Emergency Situations Kemaleddin Heydarov, Head of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company Rauf Valiyev, Chief of the State Border Service Elchin Guliyev, and SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev on eliminating the accident consequences and the search for those missing. The PM’s questions were answered.
The prime minister then gave instructions on addressing the consequences of the accident, extinguishing the fire and accelerating rescue works.
