As a result of the large-scale work on extinguishing the fire, 32 people were rescued. The remaining people are listed as missing and are currently being searched for.
Goulet conveyed her deepest condolences to those affected by the tragedy as well as the families of the missing people. She also expressed her condolences to SOCAR, who owns the rig.
Goulet also said she knows SOCAR is heavily involved in securing all its objects.
