The Court of Arbitration for Sports on Friday maintained a 90-day suspension from international football against Michel Platini, a CAS official said.
The ruling is a new blow to the Frenchman`s hopes of entering the race to become FIFA`s president. The UEFA president had been favourite to take over from Sepp Blatter until he was named in a Swiss criminal investigation this year.
