This is the first award given to a foreign public and political figure on behalf of Kuwaiti women
President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO Mehriban Aliyeva has been awarded with the Honors Diploma of the State of Kuwait for her world-wide promotion of the Islamic cultural heritage, noble charitable activity in Azerbaijan and outside the country and contributions to the education and medicine, the Foundation told.
On behalf of Kuwaiti women, Chairperson of the Kuwaiti Committee on Women`s Affairs Sheikha Latifa Al-Fahad al-Salem al-Sabah, signing the Honors Diploma, expressed deep gratitude to President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for her noble charitable and outreach activities and wished successes in her activities.
