He noted that Azerbaijani President’s visit to China is a significant event on the background of global and regional processes: “Two or three visits in a year were given status of state visit in every countries. Giving of such a status to President Ilham Aliyev by a country like China is an indicator of special attitude. This is also proved by discussions and 10 contracts. We can especially note Joint Declaration between Chinese and Azerbaijni President”.
Mammadov says they discussed extension of cooperation in all spheres: “It was observing that China attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijn in all spheres, knows about Azerbaijan international role, geopolitical importance. Meeting of heads of the two states, enhancement of cooperation in the existing condition are a significant event. Both countries ensured stable and successful development during past decade”.
