Pashazadeh said in his speech that charity has been sent to several orphanages as well as the republic specialized kindergarten intended for children with hearing impairment.
MP Fattah Heydarov, who is also the chairman of the Republican House of Elders, spoke of Heydar Aliyev’s life and his achievements for Azerbaijan, noting that Heydar Aliyev is the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan.
“The people of Azerbaijan are marking this sad day. Those who love Heydar Aliyev are visiting his grave today,” he said.
Later on, participants prayed for the souls of Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs of Garabagh.
