Ex-head of Azerbaijan State Flag Square files appeal
The former head of the Azerbaijan State Flag Square Complex Department Rashad Mammadov has filed an appeal to court, Mammadov
The appeal is due to the fact that the preventive measure in the form of arrest chosen against him by the country’s Sabail district court was extended for another three months, Alizade said.

He went on to add that the appeal was filed Dec.14.

Mammadov was arrested May 12 and a preventive measure in the form of arrest for three months was chosen against him by the Sabail district court of Azerbaijan. Subsequently, the arrest was extended for another three months. A criminal case under article 178.3.2 (swindle with causing damage in large size) was initiated in his regard.

Currently, he is being kept in the investigative isolation ward of the Azerbaijani ministry of national security.
