SOCAR Azneft PU told that necessary devices have been brought to Baku from Boots and Coots: “The devices have already been sent to the offshore. Boots and Coots are not participating in extinguishing the fire yet. But, they will join extinguishing operation when they get the devices”.
PU official added that6 vessels are trying to extinguish the fire.
Search is underway for 23 oilmen who went missing after the fire on SOCAR`s offshore platform and for another three oil workers missing after the fire in Gunashli field. The operation is conducted by 3 helicopters.
