Baku court rejects appeal of former head of State Flag Square
The Baku Court of Appeal rejected an appeal of the former head of the State Flag Square Complex Department Rashad Mammadov December 18 in connection with the extension of his detention period for three months, Akif Alizade, Mammadov
“The trial was chaired by Judge Ilgar Murguzov,” he said. “The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal and upheld the trial court`s decision.”

Mammadov was detained on May 12. He was arrested for three months upon the decision of the Sabail court of Baku. The arrest was later extended for a similar period. A criminal case on fraud by causing great damage was filed against Mammadov.
