Magnitude 6.3 quake strikes north east of Vanuatu - USGS

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 struck north east of the Vanuatu chain of islands on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake had a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), it said.
