The Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan responded to the claims of Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the head of the press service of the Defense Ministry of Armenia.
Vagif Dergahli, the chief of the press service of the Ministry stated, Azerbaijani Armed Forces will inflict retaliatory strikes on Armenian positions in case they continue to violate ceasefire and to strike residential settlements and civilians.
Dergahli noted, the Armenian Armed Forces escalate the tension in the frontline not Azerbaijan`s. Moreover, they strike Azerbaijani villages and civilians from occupied lands. Each year, tens of civilians die and get injured as a result of Armenian strikes. The OSCE and international organizations are aware of these facts.
Ordinary people reveal the lies of the criminal military regime in Armenia in their statements, Dergahli added.
