Some 50 people missing after landslide in Myanmar
About 50 people are missing after a landslide at jade mines in the northern Myanmar, media reported Saturday.
On Friday, the flow of rocks and mud buried the area, where jade and fold were mined, in the country`s state of Kachin, local officials told. Dozens of miners went missing.

On November 21, another landslide killed 115 people in a jade mine in the same area of Myanmar.

Authorities said jade mines in Myanmar had previously been designated at risk of landslides and notices had been issued to miners to not reside there, according to the media.
