 Search underway for missing Azerbaijani oilmen
A search is currently underway for Azerbaijani oilmen missing after the accident on the platform #10 in the Caspian Sea. Today State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan has launched search for missing oilmen with its three ships.
Furthermore, a border guard ship of State Border service holds search in littoral areas, `Azneft` told AzVision.az.

According to the information, three vessels of the Ministry of Emergency Situations currently conduct the firefighting operation in Guneshli offshore field. Moreover, two helicopters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conduct search for missing oilmen. The US experts have installed special devices and preparation process comes near an end.

The fire broke out on the offshore platform Dec. 4, as a strong storm damaged an underwater high-pressure gas pipeline. As many as 33 people were rescued in an ensuing large-scale operation. The dead bodies of seven oilmen were retrieved, while 23 oil workers are still listed as missing.
