Azerbaijan detains 7 Bangladeshi trespassers

Azerbaijan

As a result of joint search operations carried out by the State Border Service and State Security Service as part of measures against illegal migration, an organized criminal group was neutralized.

In addition, on Dec.26, border guards detained several Bangladeshi and Iranian citizens who attempted to illegally cross Azerbaijan’s state border with Iran with the help of an Azerbaijani citizen.

Magneum rifle, 26 cartridges, rubber boats and binocular were found and seized from the site.

Investigation is underway on both facts.
