Azerbaijan marks Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis

Every year, December 31 is celebrated as the Solidarity Day of the World Azerbaijanis.

Today, dozens of millions of Azerbaijanis live throughout the world.

This date has been declared as the Solidarity Day of the World Azerbaijanis since 1993 in accordance with the Azerbaijani president`s decree.

Azerbaijan is an independent and sovereign state since Oct. 18, 1991 and this day is marked as a holiday.
