PKK reportedly kidnaps 10 children in eastern Turkey
In another incident in a series of child kidnappings by the Kurdistan Workers` Party (PKK), members of the group abducted 10 children in the eastern province of Muş late on Sunday, AzVision.az reports quoting today’s zaman.

However, Muş Governor Vedat Büyükersoy said: “We don`t know whether the children were abducted by force or if they went of their own accord. We have launched an investigation into the incident.”

According to media reports, approximately 30 armed PKK terrorists arrived at the Çataklı village and asked residents to gather at the village mosque on Sunday at midnight. The terrorists asked the villagers gathered at the mosque to show their support for the PKK, then they left with 10 children between the ages of 12 and 15, including one girl.

A father of one of the children reportedly requested to be taken in place of his child, but one of terrorist responded by saying: “I have been a fighter since 28 years. We need young fighters now.”

Villagers called gendarmerie forces to report the incident.
