Azerbaijan, Malaysia sign documents
On September 12, following the expanded meeting between President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Malaysia Mohammad Najib Tun Abdul Razak with the participation of delegations, a signing ceremony of the Azerbaijani-Malaysian documents was held.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Malaysia Mohammad Najib Tun Abdul Razak signed a joint Declaration on friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Malaysia.

President of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev and President and Chief Executive Officer of Petroliam Nasional Berhad company Tan Sri Dato` Shamsul Azhar Abbas signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in oil and gas sector. Azerbaijan Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev and Director General of Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dato Hussin Nayan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in training of diplomats between the Azerbaijani and Malaysian governments.
