Turkey intends to sign PTA with Azerbaijan

Turkey intends to sign PTA with Azerbaijan

Turkey is seeking alternative market after economic sanctions levied by Russia.

Turkish press reports that the losses is planned to be reduced by signing Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) and Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

According to a road map compiled by Turkish Ministry of Economy, a PTA will be sigend with Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The agreement will be valid from January 1, 2017.
