Swine flu not detected in Azerbaijan
The Health Ministry of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan dismissed recent media reports over a possible outbreak of swine flue (H1N1) in the autonomous republic.
No swine flu cases have been detected in Nakhchivan as a result of laboratory analysis taken from patients hospitalized with acute respiratory infection, the health ministry told Jan 12.

The relevant bodies of Nakhchivan’s Health Ministry are taking quarantine measures at border checkpoints of the autonomous republic and people traveling from other countries are undergoing medical examination, said the ministry.

The epidemiological situation in Nakhchivan is stable, the ministry added.
