The Azerbaijani and British defense ministries held staff talks on the current level of bilateral military cooperation and its future prospects on Jan.11, the Defense Ministry told.
The talks resulted in the adoption of the military cooperation plan between the defense ministries of Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom for 2016/17 financial year.
The annual cooperation plan includes the organizing of 17 different events to take place in Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom. The events will include bilateral activities in the area of education and training as well as language preparation, qualification courses for officers and trainings on preparation for peacekeeping operations.
