"No economic crisis has created a problem to the construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway", head of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov said.
“Under the president’s order, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan has allocated fund for BTK this year. In spite of 22-25 degrees of frost there, our construction works are underway”, he said.
Gurbanov added that 85% of works have been carried out in the area controlled by Azerbaijani side: “We can provide movement in that line with a fuel locomotive and carry the freights”.
