One policeman was injured as a bomb blast targeted a police vehicle in the northern Baghlan provincial capital Pul-e-Khumri on Monday, a local official said.
"A bomb blast organized by militants struck a police vehicle in Shashsad Koti locality of Pul-e-Khumri at around 03:20 p.m. local time today, injuring the driver," acting provincial police chief Abdul Rashid Bashir told Xinhua.
