"According to some rumours, the USD rate will make AZN 2-2.5. These rumours are untrue", said the head of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov.
He noted that in order to prevent abuse of some speculators, nearly 200 currency exchange offices have been abolished: “The currency exchange is conducted inside the banks and this factor will cause elimination of stirs”.
