The Minister underlined the importance of reestablishing the Mortgage Fund on new basis. “Firstly, the management structure of the Mortgage Fund is being changed. This Fund should enter the market in order to attract funds and be able to provide loans to those in need of mortgage loans abroad,” he said.
Sharifov said that Azerbaijan intends to simplify mortgage conditions and increase sum of the mortgage loan. “There is a need to increase the sum of mortgage loans due to decline in manat rate. The interest rate policy should be also reconsidered,” he said.
