Azerbaijan starts broadcasting Ukrainian TV channel

Azerbaijan starts broadcasting Ukrainian TV channel

According to the agreement between Azerbaijani and Ukrainian National Television and Radio Councils, Ukrainian UA/TV channel has started broadcasting in Azerbaijan since January 19, Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan told.

According to the embassy, the Azerbaijan State Television (AZTV) will also be broadcasted in Ukraine.

“It’s very important, because the Azerbaijanis will be able to watch the Ukrainian events as a result of Russian aggression on the Ukrainian TV channel. At the present, the TV channel is only broadcasted by KATV1. The operators such as ATV+, BBTV, Connect, Aile TV are also expected to broadcast the TV channel soon”, the embassy said.
