Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with the Vice-President for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič in Davos on Jan. 21, AzVision.az reports.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union in various fields, including in the energy sector.
The Vise-President stressed the importance of Azerbaijani `Southern Gas Corridor` in ensuring the security in Europe.
Southern Gas Corridor has been implemented successfully so far and Europe will fully support the project, he added.
