People with loan commitment to get targeted social assistance
“Restrictions on loan commitment for targeted social assistance will be eliminated”, Salim Muslumov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, said on January 22.

The ministers noted that this process is currently being automatized: “Software is ready, will be tested in Baku’s two districts and the Cabinet of Ministers will pass a relevant decision. Assignment of targeted social assistance and application or refusal rules for this will be automatized. According to rules, the restrictions for targeted social assistance will be eliminated. The new rules will be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers soon. This is because a group of people got a loan in the past and are unable to repay it. At the same time, due to low income in the family, their commitments exceed 50% of that family’s revenue. Therefore, according to the president’s order, these restrictions will be eliminated”.
