Stoltenberg emphasized that Georgia has made significant steps towards becoming closer to the NATO standards.
“This was our first meeting since Kvirikashvili became Prime Minister, even though I knew him when he occupied the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs. Today I was given an opportunity to meet the new Foreign Minister. We of course discussed the approaching Warsaw Summit. This was a delightful meeting and I plan to continue cooperation with Georgia" NATO Secretary General said.
Kvirikashvili thanked Jens Stoltenberg for supporting the territorial integrity and state sovereignty of Georgia and expressed hope that NATO-Georgian relationships will deepen.
