The reason is the establishment of Baku Transport Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers in accordance with the Azerbaijani President’s decree on “Extra measures on conduction of reforms in the transport sphere in Baku” dated December 21, 2015 to organize and regulate regular passenger transportation by motor transport and passenger transportation by taxi cars and directly charging the Baku Transport Agency with the authorities of Traffic Safety Commission of the Cabinet of Ministers on traffic regulation.
