One of largest volcanoes in Azerbaijan erupts
Akhtarma-Pashali volcano in Hajigabul district of Azerbaijan has erupted, local authorities told.
The eruption was recorded at 03:00am on Jan.26 and lasted till the morning.

The volcano erupted in Udulu settlement is one of the largest of Azerbaijan. The volcano is located 35 km from Shirvan city - in the south-eastern Shirvan.

The height of the volcano was 30-35 meters and clearly seen from the surrounding areas.
