Protest against PACE Azerbaijani-related reports held in front of UK Embassy in Armenia
A number of young activists of "For the Rule of Law" Civic Initiative held a protest in front of the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Armenia, AzVision.az reports citing the Armenian media.

They protested against two Azerbaijan-related reports on "Escalation of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and the other occupied territories of Azerbaijan" and on "Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water" that will be debated by PACE parliamentarians on Jan. 26.

The activists were at the protests site with banners bearing English slogans. They handed a letter of demand to the vice-ambassador. Activist Arman Ghukasyan told Armenian Tert.am that the reports on the agenda of the PACE session pose threat to the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.

Note, the Azerbaijan-related reports entitled “Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water” by PACE Rapporteur Milica Markovic, as well as the one entitled “Escalation of Violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and Other Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan” by Robert Walter, are on the agenda of the today`s PACE session. The resolutions are to be put to the vote today, on January 26.
