Azerbaijan imposes ban on imports of animal origin products from Georgia
Azerbaijan officially imposes temporary ban on imports of live animals and animal products of animal origin from Georgia, from tomorrow.
The spokesman for the State Veterinary Control Service Yolchu Khanveli told.

The reason for the ban is the spread of fever virus among Cattle and small ruminant in Georgia. State Veterinary Control Service has information, and tomorrow the relevant information from World Organization for Animal Health will arrive.

In this regard, from tomorrow on the basis of order of the State Veterinary Inspectorate in Azerbaijan will be officially imposed temporary ban on imports of live animals and products of animal origin.

Relevant authorized government agencies will also be informed in this connection.
