"Starting January 1, 2016, value added tax is imposed on import of the goods, while it was being imposed on sale beforehand, first deputy chairman of the State Customs Committee Safar Mehdiyev said.
According to him, SCC budget obligations will increase: “Negotiations are underway with the government in this regard. May be a proposal is made on increase of obligation and we consider it. Some duties are planned to increase, some decrease”, Mehdiyev said.
