UNDP: Azerbaijan has big opportunities to share its experience
Azerbaijan is in an exciting period of its history, with big opportunities to share its knowledge and experience, and thereby support other countries to achieve their development goals, Helen Clark, the administrator of the UN Development Program (UNDP) said in Baku on Oct.3.

She made the remarks during the session on the theme "From Millennium Development Goals to the new priorities of global development" at ADA University.

She said that UNDP stands ready to work with Azerbaijan in these efforts.

The priorities of the new UN-Azerbaijan Partnership Framework for 2016-2020 will focus on promoting sustainable employment and building local capacities to advance human development.

“The future success of Azerbaijan is closely linked to the state of the global economy and global ecosystems, and to peace and security in our world,” Clark said.

She added that countries need economies which generate jobs and opportunities, especially for today’s large youth generation.
