Samad Seyidov suspended from PACE`s January session
Samad Seyidov has been suspended from position of head of the Azerbaijani delegation in PACE at the January session.

In just a week before Samad Seyidov sent a letter to PACE on Robert Walter`s report `Escalation of violence in Nagorno Karabakh and other occupied lands of Azerbaijan".

The letter did not mention the fact of occupation of Azerbaijani lands or contain a call for PACE to condemn the military aggression of Armenia. The whole motive of the letter was reduced to the peacekeeping activity of PACE and the need to intensify the peacekeeping mission in the region.

During the voting on Robert Walter`s report the Armenian delegation and the lobby used Samad Seyidov`s letter to prove the inconsistency of this report, which was among the main reasons of its failure.

After that it was decided to replace Samad Seyidov at the position of the head of the Azerbaijani delegation in PACE during the January session. Samad Seyidov did not participate in PACE`s January session. Haqqin.az correspondents could not contact him, since the MP is not available by phone.

Samad Seyidov was replaced by MP Vusal Huseynov. 35-year-old Vusal Huseynov is a graduate of the Harward University. In various periods he worked at the presidential administration and war the secretary of the Commission for Combat against Corruption. In 2015 he was elected to Milli Majlis from the Ujar district.

Sources in Milli Majlis said that Samad Seyidov will continue his activity at the next session of PACE.
