Parliament observes moment of silence to remember Jalal Aliyev

Parliament observes moment of silence to remember Jalal Aliyev

The Milli Mejlis (parliament) of Azerbaijan has started the first meeting of the 2016 spring session.

Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov declared the session open and then national anthem was played.

Asadov said that Jalal Aliyev died and wished Allah have mercy on him.

A moment of silence was observed to remember Jalal Aliyev.

The agenda of the session includes 16 issues.
