Iran interested investing in Georgia
Tbilisi mayor David Narmania met with Iranian ambassador to Georgia Abbas Talebifar, and the sides discussed cultural and economic relations between the two countries, Tbilisi City Hall told Trend.

The conversation touched the future prospects of cooperation between Tehran and Tbilisi.

Talebifar said the Iranian side is interested in even more deepening of cooperation.

The ambassador said that the Iranian side is also interested in investing in Georgia. He said Iranian businessmen have a special interest in the rehabilitation of depreciated buildings in Tbilisi.

Abbas Talebifar briefed the mayor with the idea of building the center of Iranian culture in Tbilisi, which will be employed by Georgian Iranists. The mayor promised to assist in this project.

The diplomat handed over the invitation of the mayor of Tehran to Narmania.

Tbilisi mayor expressed willingness to cooperate and said he was ready to visit Tehran. This visit may be implemented together with the speaker of the parliament of Georgia.
