Azerbaijan and Greece have quite fruitful cooperation, Azerbaijani foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov told reporters Feb. 2.
“We have discussed a number of issues on bilateral and regional cooperation during the meeting with my counterpart,” the minister said.
Issues of energy cooperation and cooperation within the framework of the EU were also on the agenda of the talks, said the minister.
Greece believes that Azerbaijani gas will reach Europe in the next two-three years, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias said at a briefing after talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart.
Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is in Azerbaijan on an official visit.
