The sides expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the UN. The importance of Shamshad Akhtar`s visit to Azerbaijan was emphasized in terms of further strengthening of relations.
They stressed the significance of expanding regional cooperation, and also spoke of the diversification of economy amid ongoing financial crisis. The success of work carried out by Azerbaijan in this regard was underlined.
The sides also discussed prospects for Azerbaijan-UN cooperation.
