Garagoyunlu said that Danishmali’s wife was at home during the incident.
According to the society chairman, Danismali had suffered from mental disorder.

Abbas Murad Danishmali, deputy chairman of the Turkish-Azerbaijani society in Istanbul, committed suicide early Wednesday by jumping off the sixth floor of a building in which he lived, Safar Garagoyunlu, chairman of the society.
