Asked about the possible reason swine flue has not been found in Azerbaijan despite its detection in neighboring countries, Afag Aliyeva noted that the detection of swine flue can only be confirmed by a labortator confirmation. If there is no labortator confirmation, that means there is no swine flue.
According to her, the epidemiological situation in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is quite stable.
“Whatever is said of swine flue detection in Nakhchivan is just a rumor. Respiratory viruses have been detected there, but not swine flue. Nobody should believe rumors,” she urged.
