Building of liquidated MNS given to State Security Service
The building of the liquidated Ministry of National Security has been given to the State Security Service.
The words “The Ministry of National Security’ written on the building have been replaced with “The State Security Service”.

In December 2015, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had signed a decree on the creation of the State Security Service and the Foreign Intelligence Service.

Under the president’s order, Madat Guliyev was appointed chief of the State Security Service and Orkhan Sultanov appointed chief of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
