"If Azerbaijan and Nigeria need help, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is ready to provide it without any preconditions", said IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde.
According to her, both countries were affected by the collapse of oil prices, however, Azerbaijan is taking right steps to overcome the crisis.
"Azerbaijan demonstrates a true fiscal approach reduces costs and is taking steps to restore its position. Nigeria is unable to make the necessary reforms".
