According to local media reports, a man was arrested after an unmanned aerial vehicle he was operating crashed into the 40th floor of the Empire State Building.
A New Jersey man was arrested after an unmanned aerial vehicle he was operating crashed into the 40th floor of the Empire State Building, local media reported Friday.

Riddle was arrested at the scene Thursday night and is going to face criminal charges, NBC New York broadcaster said, citing investigators.

According to investigators, the crash was not planned, and Riddle was flying the aircraft trying to take pictures and lost control of the drone.

The drone dropped onto a landing from the 40th floor to the 35th. No injuries reported in these incidents.
