Georgia says talks with South Caucasus Pipeline consortium in active phase

The Georgian government in 2011 appealed to the consortium to provide additional volumes of gas, but the repeated offers of negotiations received a written refusal, said Kaladze.

“Currently, negotiations are in a very active phase, but the agreement has not been reached. If Georgia is able to convince the consortium, the pipeline has the capacity to transfer additional volumes of gas,” the minister stressed.
