Gasoline prices not related to oil prices in Azerbaijan - SOCAR head
Gasoline prices are not related to oil prices in Azerbaijan, President of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev said at a meeting with young oilmen.
He said that in Azerbaijan, gasoline prices are determined by the Tariff (Price) Council against the background of the overall economy of the country and average prices.

Gasoline prices in the domestic market were higher than those in the foreign market only once in Azerbaijan, Abdullayev said, adding that such a situation lasted only one or two months. Gasoline currently costs 40 cents in Azerbaijan, and it is cheaper than in the US, he said.
