Azerbaijan, Iran consider regulation of frequency resources in border areas
Azerbaijan and Iran have solved all technical issues related to the regulation of frequency resources in the border areas, Chairman of the Iranian State Television and Radio Ezzatollah Zarghami told journalists Oct. 10 during his visit to Baku.

“All problems, observed earlier, have been solved,” he said.

"Currently, Iran and Azerbaijan are considering mutual cooperation in the field of TV and radio broadcasting,” he said. “The countries voiced the initiatives to establish a committee on the media affairs.”

The main purpose of establishing a joint Azerbaijani-Iranian committee for the media affairs is to establish cooperation in the Internet TV, traditional TV and radio broadcasting, digital and satellite broadcasting, Azerbaijani Minister of Communications and High Technologies Ali Abbasov told reporters after a meeting with an Iranian delegation.

“The observance of mutual interests is an important aspect of cooperation with Iran,” he said.
